Inspired by the more mysterious and commanding half of the Owens sisters' beloved aunts, Aunt Frances Goat Milk Soap is a richly botanical creation with an unmistakably old-world apothecary character.

The recipe begins with beef tallow infused with Earl Grey, patchouli, butterfly pea flower, black cardamom, black tea, ginger root, cinnamon chips, turmeric, black peppercorn, and orange peel.

A separate brew of sage, patchouli, and chamomile forms the liquid foundation for the lye solution.

Rosemary-infused olive oil and peppermint-and-eucalyptus-infused grapeseed oil add further botanical complexity, while coconut oil, cocoa butter, corn oil, and creamy goat milk complete the soap's rich, handcrafted foundation.

Bentonite clay, olive green clay, titanium dioxide, and mica powder contribute to the soap's distinctive appearance, complementing its vintage Gothic lace-inspired design.

Deep, herbal, resinous, and wonderfully mysterious, this fragrance combines Apothecary and Labdanum Element to create an atmosphere reminiscent of antique wooden cabinets, dried herbs, weathered spellbooks, and candlelit rooms.

The fragrance opens with the intriguing warmth of peppercorn and coriander, balanced by aromatic sage. Earthy moss, patchouli, and delicate chamomile emerge at the heart, creating a botanical richness that feels both familiar and mysterious. As the fragrance settles, balsam and the deep, resinous warmth of labdanum create a sophisticated, lingering finish.
